Is this the beginning of the end of plastic shopping bags?

The plastic bag, notorious for being resistant to bio-degradation and photo-degradation,for choking sewerage systems,for choking aquatic animals for marring natural aesthetic scenes and much more,and for being very popular though overall very harmful,in South Africa its dubbed the national bird!!, is apparently meeting its death bed soon elsewhere....
